MU Group was formerly known as Ningbo Market Union Co., Ltd., established at the end of 2003. Today, MU Group has grown into a conglomerate comprising over seventy business divisions and subsidiaries engaged in export trade and cross-border e-commerce, with headquarters in Ningbo, an operational headquarters in Yiwu (dual headquarters), and six major operational centres in Shanghai, Hangzhou, Shenzhen, Chengdu, Guangzhou, and Shantou. The Group has eleven domestic branches in Jiangbei District,Southern Business District, Cixi, Qingdao, Nanjing, Xiamen, Quan- zhou, Jinjiang, Zhongshan, Dongguan, and Wuhan, as well as five factories in Ningbo, Yiwu, Vietnam, and Cambodia. Additionally, the Group has subsidiaries responsible for procurement and sales in regions such as Hanoi, Ho Chi Minh City, Jakarta, Manila, lzmir, Mumbai, Paris, London, Moscow, Mexico City, and Panama. Internally, we refer to this as the 'buy-sell dual-track' business model.
Operational Scale and Business Scope
Currently, MU Group has developed into one of the largest self-operated export groups in Zhejiang Province in terms of export scale and number of employees. By 2025,the Group expects to achieve an export volume of 3 billion USD, with an estimated workforce of 6,000 employees and a total office and warehouse area exceeding 300,000 square metres.
The Group's core business is to assist Western clients in managing commodity procurement in Asia. Its clients include leading global retail clients, world-renowned brand clients, and Fortune500 companies, as well as providing frag- mented and flexible procurement services to overseas small and medium-sized retailers, brand manufacturers, im- porters, e-commerce companies, social media influencers, and live-streaming sellers on TikTok.
